I studied Fine Art at college, specialising in sculpture, and have
been a practising artist / designer / maker for over 20 years.
Standingstone was established in 1994 when I was unable to find an
appropriate house sign for my own property and decided to make my
own. As the business developed outbuildings of the former farm, where
I now live, have been adapted to provide studio and workshop space.
This collection offers a choice of durable, well designed house
signs to the discerning home owner who is looking for something which
is a little more unique than the run-of-the-mill signs that are
