We have taken the wild rose, also known as the dog rose, as the source for these plaques. The masons at Southwell Minster used a cultivated form, widely featured in the heraldry at the time.
The signs are available with large or small nameplates. We can highlight the blooms with gold paint at no charge if you wish (example below). There is a choice of six different lettering styles (fonts) for these Foliate signs, they are illustrated on the Lettering styles page.
