Varnished Wood House Plaque – The Cottage

A straightforward varnished wood house sign which appears to be fairly new. It is mounted at the top of the doorframe; a position usually reserved those signs warning people to duck before they decapitate themselves. This will undoubtedly help protect the sign from elements and extend the life of the wooden plaque that would otherwise need re-varnishing after about every three years.

The white lettering is also straightforward in style, only the "H" and the "A" dare to be a little unconventional. It could be that dreaded plastic vinyl lettering but is more likely to be sign written. The overall theme of conventionality is extended to the house name – no prizes for creativeness here.
