....This agreement applies to this sale and all statements made by Standing Stone in brochures, price lists, quotations, on the internet or verbally. Variations to this agreement must be made by Standing Stone in writing. Any other Terms & Conditions are excluded. Placing your order means acceptance of this agreement. Your contract is with:

....All goods are hand crafted individually to each order to your specification. They are not stock items, therefore colours and finishes may vary slightly from examples supplied to you in brochures, adverts, on the internet or by email.

Payment:
....Payment by cheque (UK customers only) or credit/debit/charge card with order. Your payment will not be banked until your order is ready for despatch/shipping (cheques may be presented a little earlier to allow for clearance).
....All prices quoted are in UK Pounds Sterling; they are total prices including delivery. International transactions will be subject to the card issuer's exchange rate on the day of the transaction. Amounts debited will be in UK Pounds Sterling (some card providers may charge a fee for foreign currency transactions).
....Customers outside the European Union are responsible for any import duties or tax that may be levied by their own country.

Delivery/Shipping:
....When your order is received it will be acknowledged with an Order Confirmation by letter, fax or email.
....Your order will be normally sent out to you within 14 days. You will be advised of a despatch/shipping date for your order and given an approximate date of arrival. Please contact us if your order has not been delivered by the date advised. We shall not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control.
You will be informed immediately in the unlikely event the despatch/shipping date cannot be met and a new date will be given to you.
....When you receive your order please check that the packaging is intact and sealed/unopened/ undamaged. If you have any doubts please call for advice before accepting/signing for it. Any damage or shortfall should be notified immediately.

Customer Service:
....For information, help or advice on any aspect of your order please email Standing Stone or telephone 01267 223226 (+44 1267 223226 from outside the UK). Alternatively write to Standing Stone at the address above. Every reasonable effort will be made to resolve or acknowledge by post, telephone or email any queries within 48 hours and respond to complaints within 5 working days and keep you reasonably notified of any progress thereafter.

Warranty:
....All goods are made to order in the Standing Stone workshops. They are carefully checked before leaving our studios and are guaranteed against defects in manufacture/materials for 2 years from date of purchase. Faults in manufacture/materials which occur during the warranty period or mistakes made by Standing Stone will be promptly put right at our expense without fuss, excuse or argument.

Cancellation/Returns:
....When buying goods and services on the internet, you are entering a legally binding contract. The Order Confirmation that will be sent to you on receipt of your order will give a last date by which any cancellation, correction or amendment must be received or the details stated in the Order Confirmation will apply, therefore please carefully check the Order Confirmation. Goods returned without prior written consent or agreement will not be accepted. The seven day cooling off period in the UK Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 does not apply to goods which have been personalised for the buyer.

Security:
....Any information you supply will be kept private and secure. If you place your order online all information is processed on a secure server with industry standard internet software using 128 bit encryption. It is decrypted only after it reaches our computer which is firewall protected, it is not held in clear text on any web site. A paper copy is made and the computer file is deleted.

Privacy:
....All information you supply will be used exclusively to process your request, enquiry or order. Your details will never be distributed to a third party and you will not be sent unsolicited literature or emails. "Cookies" (unique identifiers ) are not used on this website. The responsibility for the confidential and appropriate use of the information you supply is that of Sean Maslin, the proprietor of Standing Stone.

Consumer Rights:
